1. Chocolate Molecules
The chef here is truly one-of-a-kind, pouring heart and soul into every creation. Starting with classic French pastries like raspberry or pistachio tart, she’s infused her own twist, like our forever favorite ‘Noisette’ or the pecan tart with whipped ganache and pecan cream.
Quality is key here, only the freshest ingredients make the cut, with a strict no-yesterday’s-pastries policy.
What really sets them apart is their approach, their pastries are less sugary, letting the flavors shine through.
This philosophy extends to their croissants, which underwent countless trials to get just right. After experimenting with different flours and meticulously selecting the butter, they’ve nailed it! Their croissant boasts the perfect balance of crispiness on the outside, buttery richness, and a soft, airy. Prepare to be wowed by the perfect layering of flavors and textures!
Location: Vita Mall, Jumeirah 1
Seating: Around 12 indoors, plus a couple tables in their outdoor area
Free parking right outside the café
Plain croissant price : 18 AED

2 - Flaky Pastry Best Croissants in Dubai
The very first Dubai croissanterie opened almost 2 years ago in City Walk and has since expanded to Dubai Creek due to its immense popularity.
Led by Chef Alex and his dedicated team, they’re committed to offering high-quality croissants while constantly innovating.
Our all-time favorite is the pistachio, rose, and raspberry croissant, which unfortunately was removed from the menu. Don’t forget to request its comeback when you visit, as you must taste it!
Apart from this one, you can’t go wrong with their classic croissant, or you can explore savory options like the one filled with potato mousse cream, truffle, and Parmesan cheese, our second favorite!
Following the trend, they’ve also introduced their version of the viral crookie, now one of their bestsellers.
Locations : City Walk (limited seating) and Creek (larger venue)
Plain croissant price : 21 AED

4 - Kayu Bakehouse
Let’s start from the beginning: is there anyone in town who hasn’t heard of Chef Karim Bourgi? He’s one of the most renowned pastry chefs in the UAE, with over a decade of experience in the industry.
We had the pleasure of experiencing his culinary creations years ago when he launched Hermes Paris Café in Fashion Avenue. His raspberry tart, filled with almond and vanilla cream, left an indelible impression on us – it was truly out of this world!
Karim isn’t just a master of pastries; he’s also known for his viennoiseries. From the classic pain au chocolat to delectable almond croissants and even savory options like the Burrata croissant, his creations never fail to impress.
Keep in mind that Kayu Bakehouse is primarily for takeout or delivery. If you’re eager to have them in a café setting, you can visit their adjacent shop, Calla Café. However, space is limited, so it will be your luck!
Location : Nad Al Sheba 1
Plain croissant price : 23 AED
Only a few seats in the café next door Calla Café
Parking in front of the shop for free.

5. Milk Bakery Best Croissants in Dubai
They proudly claims themselves as the neighborhood bakery, and stepping inside truly evokes that cozy, familiar feeling. It’s a cute spot perfect for breakfast lovers. Their display of goodies might make it hard to choose, but if you’re unsure, the classic croissant is always a safe and delicious option. Feeling bold? Try their Kiri and honey croissant or the ricotta pesto Danish.
Beyond their tasty treats, Milk Bakery is also a great place to work. With its cozy atmosphere and plenty of power sockets near the tables, it’s an ideal spot to plug in your laptop and get things done.

6. Pekoe Tea and Bread Bar Best Croissants in Dubai
It’s been almost three years since this bakery opened in Alserkal Avenue, and if you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out! We love the warm atmosphere and stylish interior. It’s another fantastic spot to work while enjoying some freshly baked croissants.
Head Chef & Baker Keren is the genius behind the creations, constantly innovating while maintaining impeccable quality. She’s renowned for her fresh sourdough bread, perfect for enjoying at home. The bakery offers a fantastic selection, from classic plain croissants to indulgent almond croissants, and savory options like asparagus & parmesan.
One standout recommendation? The Bakewell pistachio: a flaky double-baked croissant filled with house-made pistachio frangipane cream and house-made strawberry jam, topped with pistachio nut butter cream and pistachio flakes. If that description doesn’t make your mouth water, we don’t know what will!
Location : Alserkal Avenue
Plain croissant price : 14 AED

7. Lana Lusa Best Croissants in Dubai
Another gem in Wasl 51, this place has so much to offer. It’s a Portuguese restaurant, and before we even get to the croissants, we have to recommend their bacalhau, a traditional Portuguese dish made with cod, eggs, and potatoes.
The ambiance is delightful, with a contemporary chic interior. And the best part? There’s an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs cooking and plating right in front of you.
Breakfast is served until 12:30, and for just 55 AED, you can enjoy a delicious viennoiserie (choose between a croissant and a pain au chocolat), a fresh juice, and a coffee or tea. And you absolutely can’t leave Lana Lusa without trying their pasteis de nata! Take them home, warm them up, and serve them with cinnamon…close your eyes and you’ll feel like you’re in Lisbon!
Location : Wasl 51 – Jumeirah 1 will soon be relocating to the Four Seasons Private Residences on the Dubai Water Canal

8. Birch Bakery
Tucked away in the heart of Al Quoz’s industrial district, among warehouses and trucks, discovering a spot like this is quite unexpected. Yet, here it is, a hidden gem! As you enter, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and mouthwatering pastries greets you.
Don’t expect a cozy space; it’s more of a place to grab and enjoy at home in the heart of Al Quoz. However, they do have a few seats available if you’re lucky enough to find them unoccupied.
Birch is renowned for its quality sourdough bread. Grab a baguette to enjoy at home with some butter – it’s the best way!
When it comes to croissants, they proudly refer to them as “slow croissants” because they’re made over 24 hours to ensure they’re extra delicious!
Our top recommendation? The Burnt Emirati honey & sea salt croissant! It’s salty, sweet, and buttery – the perfect combination. It’s one of their best sellers, and you’re sure to love it!
Location : AL Quoz
Plain croissant price : 15 AED
Free Parking in front of the shop

9. Bageri Form
Located in Dubai Design District, this Scandinavian-inspired bakery features charming outdoor patio seating and a warm indoor ambiance. However, it’s often bustling with customers due to its limited seating.
One of their top-selling items is the cinnamon bun, which we highly recommend! They also offer a delicious zaatar croissant drizzled with honey…it’s a must-try.
While you’re there, if you take seats in front of the kitchen, take a moment to watch the chefs expertly bake the dough; witnessing the technical precision behind crafting these croissants adds a whole new appreciation to each bite.

Plenty of parking spaces are available in D3 parking
