5. Travel Tips: Timing & Transport to Visit Beirut

Best Time to Visit

Beirut has that classic Mediterranean weather: warm and sunny most of the year. The best time to visit is in spring (April to June) or early autumn (September to October). The weather is pleasant, not too hot, and perfect for walking around.

Summer can be very hot and humid. It’s also the busiest time, with many Lebanese returning home and tourists visiting.

Getting Around

Beirut isn’t a huge city, and walking around neighborhoods like Downtown, Hamra, or Mar Mikhael is the best way to explore and really enjoy the vibe.

For longer distances, Uber and Bolt are popular and easy to use. You’ll also see local taxis around.

If you plan to explore areas outside Beirut, renting a car is a good option. Just be aware that traffic in the city can be busy and parking is sometimes hard to find.

Beirut is one of those cities that surprises you, full of life, flavor, and stories. If you’re looking for something real, it’s the place to be.

And if you’d rather not go alone, come with us. Our ladies-only group is all about safe travels and good vibes!
